Xue Pingxi (薛平西, Moses Hsüeh Ping-hsi) 1904-1995 was an alumnus of St John's University Shanghai and from 1955 the Assistant Bishop of the (Anglican) Diocese of Fukien. He survived the Cultural Revolution and served as the first president of Fujian Theological Seminary from 1983 to 1994.
