Beryl Stevenson Nisbet
1931 - 2018 Person Name: Beryl Nisbet Arranger of "BEHOLD! BEHOLD!" in Favourite Hymns of the Church Beryl Stevenson was born in Tranent, East Lothian, 16th August 1931. She studied piano, voice, and ballet in her youth. In 1952 she married Joe Nisbet, and in 1967 the family moved to Belfast where Joe preached for the Church of Christ full time. In 1979 Joe became director of the British Bible School, and Beryl was fondly remembered by students as "our Mum away from home." She passed from this life in 2018. Beryl Nisbet contributed arrangements to the hymnal Favourite Songs of the Church, created for the British Churches of Christ.
