இடமில்லை, இடமில்லை, ஓர் தொழுவம் வந்தார்.
2 ஒரு மாளிகையும் தாங்காது, எவ்வண்ண ஆடையும்,

தாவீதின் ஊரில் இன்றிரா பிறந்தார் மீட்பரே,
நம்மை மீட்க தன் சொந்த குமாரனைத்தந்து,
இவ்வளவாக நேசித்து நம்மை இரட்சிக்கவே.
5 அம்மேய்ப்பர் கண்ட காட்சியால் பயந்து வியக்க,
வான் தூதர் சேனை தோன்றியே நற்செய்தி பாடினர்,
ஆ உன்னதத்தில் தேவனுக்கு மகிமையே,
பூமியில் மெய் சமாதானம், மாந்தர் மேல் பிரியம்.
6 மெய் வாஞ்சையோடு ஆவலாய் பெத்லேகேம் அடைந்து,
கந்தை பொதிந்த கோலமாய் அப்பாலனைக்கண்டார்,
