from the unformed womb of space,
newborn worlds of gleaming glory,
fresh with hope and ripe with grace:
speak again with power and promise
when the storms of fear increase;
to our chaos and confusion
let your light and truth bring peace.
2 As we worship, may your Spirit
breathe through us the pow'r of prayer,
words of life for daily living,
strength to do and faith to dare.
Come, enflame us, Holy Spirit,
