1858 - 1936 Author of "Never alone, no, never alone" in The Brethren Hymnal Addison Bartholomew Bowser was born on May 22, 1858 in Washington Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. He attended Reed Institute, Bucknell University and Crozer Seminary in Upland, PA. He subsequently served as pastor of several Baptist Churches in Pennsylvania.
