1 Oh, when the Sabbath's chiming
Rings clear upon the air,
Let grateful souls, responding,
Seek peace and strength in prayer.

2 Let hearts of all his children
Unite, though care-oppressed,
To praise him, call him Father,
On his glad day of rest.
