Jesus, the cause belongs to Thee,
When men against Thy Gospel rise;
And now Thou dost their threatenings see;
Thou canst disperse them with Thine eyes:
Our foes and we are in Thy hand,
Who sittest on the righteous throne:
And let Thine awful counsel stand,
And let Thy sovereign will be done.
