All jubilantly sing,
As on the dear Lord’s altar
We lay the flowers of spring.
They seemed to die in autumn,
But lo, today they bloom;
So Christ who died has risen
In beauty from the tomb.

O Earth, lift up thy voice
In joy of Easter morning,
The Savior lives: rejoice!
2 Behold, the grave is empty
In which the Savior lay;
O’er sin and death triumphant
