63. The Christ Way

1 Christ’s ringing challenge thrills my soul,
‘Come unto me and live!’
From sin and shame, He’d make me whole,
O Master, my all I give!

Chorus:
He calls to the Christ way of living,
He calls to life and peace;
To loving, to serving, to giving;
From sin’s selfish ways to cease;
And to walk by His side,
And to “seek things above,”
And to tell His sweet story of love.

2 Leaving, He said, “Abide in me,”
‘Let me abide in you;’
‘The dead I raised; and blind now see;
Still greater works you shall do.’ [Chorus]

3 Jesus commands me: I must “go,”
And teach His Word of life;
For all men ev’rywhere must know,
And cease from their sin and strife. [Chorus]
