125. Everywhere With Jesus

1. Ev'rywhere with Jesus, thus I find sweet rest,
Just the way he giveth is for me the best;
Brightest day without him gives but clouded light;
Walking in his presence, even night is bright.

2. When I follow Jesus, pressing to his side,
Even ills are helpful, as a gracious tide;
If his goings lead me into pathways strait,
Yet his blessed presence, brightens ev'ry state.

3. Ev'rywhere with Jesus, counting all but dross,
To behold his glory, to exalt his cross;
Speaking forth his praises, telling men his grace,
Calling to his presence all who long for peace.
