Anderson, John Shirley (Melbourne, Australia, May 9, 1895-August 31, 1970, Rosebud, Victoria, Australia) Studied at the University of Melbourne, B.A., and was ordained to the Presbyterian ministry in 1931. He received his B.D. degree from the same university in 1935. A quiet, devoted pastor, he served Presbyterian congregations in Clunes, 1931-1936; Malvern East, 1936-1940; Yallourn, 1940-1945; Stratford, 1945-1951; Wonthaggi, 1951-1957; and Coleraine, 1957-1960, all within his native state of Victoria.
