Abiding in Jesus

Representative Text

1 I’m abiding in the love of Jesus,
All I gladly to His will resign;
‘Tis a place of perfect peace and safety,
For I know that I am His and He is mine!

Refrain:
I am His, He is mine,
I’m a branch and He the living vine;
I am His, He is mine,
I’m abiding in His love divine.

2 I am His and He is mine forever,
Never from His presence will I stray,
For ‘tis here I find the truest pleasure:
O ‘tis sweet to walk with Jesus all the way! [Refrain]

3 For His coming I am praying, longing,
When with all His chosen we shall shine
As the brightness of the stars forever
In the presence of the blessed Christ divine. [Refrain]
