Let Me Walk With Thee

Representative Text

1 Let me walk with thee, dear Saviour,
For the storm-clouds, sweeping low
From mine eyes have hid the pathway,
And I know not where to go.

Refrain:
Let me walk with thee, dear Saviour,
Draw me near, and nearer thee,
In thine own, my weak hand holding,
Thou alone my strength must be.

2 Let me walk with thee, dear Saviour,
There is safety by thy side,
Though the shadows close around me,
Left alone I wander wide. [Refrain]

3 Let me walk with thee, dear Saviour,
‘Mid the darkness deep uphold
All my steps in tender mercy,
Let thy love my life enfold. [Refrain]

4 Let me walk with thee, dear Saviour,
Keep me ever near to thee,
Through life’s fitful journey ever
Thou my hope, my light shalt be. [Refrain]
