Chorus:
Press on, press on,
The bugle notes are calling us to arm for fight;
Press on, press on,
For victory must ever crown the cause of right.

1 Our cause is needing all the good and true

To drive the foe from out the land.

2 Each faithful soldier shall receive a crown
When comes the time to lay his armor down;
His work all done, his every conflict o’er
In peace he reigns forevermore. [Chorus]
