Forward All

Representative Text

1 Forward, forward, one united host,
In our Captain be our only boast,
Mighty Leader, ours forevermore,
He will guide us, going on before.

Refrain:
Forward, forward, forward one and all,
Listen, listen to the Captain’s call,
Follow, follow, where He leads the way,
Work is waiting, haste O haste today,
Jesus, Jesus ever watches you,
To your trust each moment then be true.
Listen, listen to your Captain’s call,
To the royal watchword
Forward all.

2 Waiting, trusting, yielding not to fear,
We will conquer, victory is near,
Loyal soldiers, looking unto Him,
Follow Jesus, let not faith grow dim. [Refrain]

3 Loving, loyal soldiers of the King,
Unto Jesus all your trophies bring,
All the glory unto Him belongs,
Praise Him, praise Him, in the triumph songs. [Refrain]
