Jesus Is Your Friend

Representative Text

1 What a precious friend we have in Jesus!
With His love He blesses us each day!
With His grace He wondrously sustains us,
As we walk with Him the narrow way.

Refrain:
Jesus is your friend,
His love will never end,
He will leave you never,
Walk with you forever,
Jesus is your friend.

2 What a tender friend we have in Jesus!
In compassion, Oh, how rich is He!
Who so kind, so gentle and forgiving?
Who so faithful to His own could be? [Refrain]

3 What a loving friend we have in Jesus!
On the cruel cross of Calvary
He atoned that none should ever perish,
But be sav’d thro’ Him eternally. [Refrain]
