Herbert, Annie. This name is given by Mr. Sankey in his My Life and Sacred Songs, 1906, as the writer of the hymn, "When the mists have rolled in splendour" ( We shall know as we are known), and was sung by him for the first time in the Free Trade Hall, Manchester, in 1883. It has become one of the most popular of his Sacred Songs and Solos.
