Já outro sábado chegou.
Ó vem, minh’alma, desfrutar,
E do descanso aproveitar.

2. Após as lutas e o labor,
Louvemos nosso bom Senhor.
Que, neste dia que nos deu,
Nos dê mais bênçãos lá do Céu.

3. As nossas graças vamos dar
Como um incenso salutar;
E Jesus Cristo a nós virá:
Repouso santo nos dará.

Author: Samuel Stennett

Samuel Stennett was born at Exeter, in 1727. His father was pastor of a Baptist congregation in that city; afterwards of the Baptist Chapel, Little Wild Street, London. In this latter pastorate the son succeeded the father in 1758. He died in 1795.
