We ask for donations here just twice a year. Before you hit the "close" button, would you please consider a gift to keep Hymnary.org going? Even small amounts help, and they also let us know you're behind us and support what we do. Last year, Hymnary had 11.3 million users from 243 countries around the globe, people like you who love hymns! To serve our many, many users well takes money, and we have limited sources of revenue. This fund drive is one such source. All Glory, Honor, Thanks, and Praise

All glory, honor, thanks, and praise

Author: C. Daniel Crews (1982)
Tune: THY MAJESTY
Published in 1 hymnal

Representative Text

1 All glory, honor, thanks, and praise
to Christ our Lord and Savior,
that still his church in these our days
may know his boundless favor:
for brothers and sisters united by love
stand firm o'er the earth far extended,
as countless more legions in heaven above
extol how his grace them attended.

2 Yet, Lord, you summon us anew
to grasp the task unfinished.
Christ's saving word, forever true,
must press on undiminished.
O raise up still more, Savior God,
in our day apostles to carry salvation
so that its almighty and life-giving ray
may brightly shine forth in each nation.
