1. All-Wise, All-Great, whose an­cient plan
Ordained the wo­man for the man,
Look down, O Lord, on these who now
Before Thy sac­red al­tar bow.

2. Almighty Rul­er, in whose hand
The mor­row and its is­sues stand,
Whate’er the lot Thy will as­sign,
We can but say our all is Thine.

3. Throughout their life-long jour­ney still,
Guide Thou these two in good and ill,
And where­so­e’er the way ex­tend,
Be with them, Fa­ther, to the end.
