Another New Year

Representative Text

1. Another year for Jesus
Has gone just as it is;
A new one stands before us,
To make more wholly his.

2. What errors in the last year,
That we can rectify?
Where can we make improvement,
Ah, will we really try?

3. Shall we be all for Jesus,
No matter what the cost,
And do our very uttmost
To help him save the lost?

4. He's coming soon to bring us
To live with him in light;
O, do we wear the garment
By Jesus' blood made white?

5. O make the year a glad one,
With service for our King;
And when he comes to call us,
With ransomed ones we'll sing.
