1 بمجد باريها تُحدِّثُ السما
وتُخبرُ الأفلاك عن صًنعِ يديهْ
يومٌ إلى يومٍ يذيعُ كِلمَه
والليلُ يُبدي مثلَه عِلماً إليهْ

2 أقامَ للشمس محلاًّ فبدتْ
مثلَ عروسٍ خرجت من خِدرِها
تدور من أقصى إلى أقصى السما
وليس شيءٌ يختفي عن حرِّها

3 إنَّ وصايا الرب مستقيمةٌ
تسُرُّ قلباً وهْي نور الأعيُنِ
أحكامُه عادلةٌ جميعُها
أشهى من المالِ وكلِّ معدنِ

4 فلْتكن اللهمَّ أقوالُ فمي
مقبولةً أمام عرش النعمةِ
وفكرُ قلبي حائزاً منك الرضا
أيا وليَّ عاضدي وصخرتي

Nasif al-Yaziji (March 25, 1800 – February 8, 1871) was a Lebanese author at the times of the Ottoman Empire and father of Ibrahim al-Yaziji. He was one of the leading figures in the Nahda movement.
