Representative Text

1 Birds are singing, flow’rbells ringing,
On the Children’s Day in June;
Voices blending, songs ascending,
Happy hearts are all in tune.

Refrain:
Bring the blossoms, smiling blossoms,
Pinks and daisies, lilies fair;
Love’s sweet off’ring, willing off’ring,
Consecrated lives shall bear.

2 Roses blushing, streamlets gushing,
Sunbeams glancing from above;
Waving banners, glad hosannas,
Tell our gratitude and love. [Refrain]

3 Hearts are burning, lessons learning
From the birds, the brooks, the flow’rs;
Joy and beauty wait on duty,
Say the summer’s balmy hours. [Refrain]

4 Blessed Savior, grant Thy favor,
While our loving praises swell;
Then Thy children, trusting children,
Shall Thy grace and goodness tell. [Refrain]
