Blessed Francis, holy father. [St. Francis of Assisi] This anonymous hymn is in A. E. Tozer's Catholic Hymns, 1887 and 1898, as from "Franciscan Manual." It is in the Little Manual of the Third Order of St. Francis, 1899, p. 192; but not in the eds. of 1855, 1869, or 1883. [Rev. James Mearns, M.A.]
