Blessed Jesus, Draw Me Nearer

Representative Text

1 Blessed Jesus, draw me nearer,
Nearer to Thy heart divine;
With Thy Holy Spirit fill me,
And my earthliness refine.

Refrain:
Draw me nearer, ever nearer,
And renew Thy life in me;
Since I long to know Thy fulness,
Draw me nearer, Lord to Thee.

2 Blessed Jesus, draw me nearer,
And subdue this will of mine;
Consecrate me to Thy service,
For I would be wholly Thine. [Refrain]

3 Blessed Jesus, draw me nearer,
I would Thee more fully know;
By Thy loving grace transform me,
In Thy image make me grow. [Refrain]
