1 Blossoms of the summer bloom on every side,
Freely sending forth their sweetness far and wide,
Telling in their quiet way God’s love alway,
If we in his promises abide.
Trust him, trust him freely, on this happy day,
Look to him in gladness, let your hearts be gay,
Let your faith in Jesus Christ be firm and true,
Trust him as the flowers do.

2 Blossoms of the summer bloom so glad and free,
Filling earth with brightness that we all may see;

All his precious words and teachings true obey;
Look to him in fervent love and trust sincere

3 Blossoms of the summer, in their modest grace,
Blooming where the Master chose for them a place,
By their sweet content show how to live below,
As to heav’n they raise each smiling face.
Praise him, praise him ever, who is Lord and King;
Hearts of love and gladness to the Savior bring;
Look to him rejoicing, all his will obey,
