Christ is risen, the Lord is come. H. H. Milman. [Easter.] This Easter hymn was given in the author's Selection of Psalms and Hymns, &c, 1837, No. 2, for Easter, in 3 stanzas of 8 lines, in his Poems, 1839, vol. ii. p. 342; and again in the 11th edition of Heber's Hymns, 1842, p. 115, divided into 6 stanzas of 4 lines. Amongst modern hymnals it is found in Kennedy, 1863, No. 702, with slight alterations, and the addition of the refrain "Alleluia!" It is also in the Collection for Harrow School Chapel, and others.
