Representative Text

1 Christ never yet has failed a soul
Whose trust in Him was stayed;
No contrite one for pard’ning grace
Has ever vainly pray’d.

Refrain:
Christ never fails, He never fails,
His love is just the same.
Today He offers pard’ning grace
AS when to earth He came.

2 “I called on Christ in time of need,
And lo, He heard my pray’r,”
This is the witness of His truth
That countless thousands bear. [Refrain]

3 Christ never yet has failed a soul,
Unbroken is His vow;
His word is “come, I’ll not cast out,”
Oh, claim that promise now. [Refrain]

4 Christ never yet has failed a soul,
How sweetly on His breast,
Their labors o’er, without a fear
His lov’d ones sink to rest. [Refrain]
