1 Christian, forth! God’s holy word fulfill!
In His vineyard labor,
Gladly working out the Master’s will,
Love and serve thy neighbor.

Refrain:
“Give, and it shall be given unto you,”
Give of thyself in service ever true;
This is the promise Christ has given thee,
“As the days so thy strength shall be.”

2 Lift thy heart in happy pray’r and song,
While thy way pursuing;
‘Tis to thee God’s promises belong,
If His work you’re doing. [Refrain]

3 Help thy feeble brother on the way,
Cheer and comfort giving;
Make the world grow brighter ev’ry day,
Just because you’re living. [Refrain]

4 Work for peace, for hope, for joy and love,
Thy whole self bestowing;
Earth shall then be like to heav’n above,
With the Love-light glowing. [Refrain]
