1 Come while God is calling, hear his word today.
Peace thro’ the blood of the cross;
Take the gift he offers, come without delay,
Peace thro’ the blood of the cross.
Refrain:
Peace! wonderful peace!
Peace! wonderful peace!
Peace thro’ the blood of the cross;
Peace! wonderful peace!
Peace! wonderful peace!
Peace thro’ the blood of the cross.
2 Sink the past forever ‘neath the cleansing tide,
Peace thro’ the blood of the cross;
Let the Holy Spirit in your heart abide,
Peace thro’ the blood of the cross. [Refrain]
3 Blessing free and boundless flowing from above,
Peace thro’ the blood of the cross;
Everlasting mercy, everlasting love,
Peace thro’ the blood of the cross. [Refrain]
4 Tell the joyful story everywhere you go,
Peace thro’ the blood of the cross;
Till the wide world over, ransomed souls shall know,
Peace thro’ the blood of the cross. [Refrain]
