Dormindo Nele

Representative Text

1 Dormindo nEle, no Senhor!
Ditoso sono em Seu amor!
Pois neste sono o descansar
É ver-se no paterno lar.

2 Dormindo nEle se desfaz
A tempestade em santa paz:
Vem a bonança; vento e mar
Não mais o podem assustar.

3 Dormindo nEle! Nada ali
Da luta sustentada aqui!
Findo o pecado, finda a dor,
Finda a aflição, o dissabor.

4 Dormindo nEle! O cristão,
Tomado a Si por Sua mão,
Está na gloriosa luz
Na companhia de Jesus.
