1 Down with the evil and up with the right,
Strong in the Lord and the power of His might;
‘Pressing the legions of Satan to flight,
Ours is the victory.
Refrain:
Ours is the victory,
Ours is the victory, the victory.
2 Down with the evil and up with the right,
Nail to the masthead your colors ever bright;
Fear not nor falter though stern be the fight;
Ours is the victory. [Refrain]
3 Down with the evil and up with the right,
Children of day, not the children of night;
Scatter the darkness with glad, heav’nly light;
Ours is the victory. [Refrain]
