Representative Text

1 From the sacred pages, shines a promise bright,
Cheering all the ages with its holy light;
Mercies not are falling, love is seeking still;
Hear the Saviour calling, “Whosoever will.”

Refrain:
“Whosoever will,” whosoever will!”
God in cov’nant mercy will His word fulfill;
“Whosoever will,” whosoever will!”
Find the way to Jesus, in that “Whosoever will.”

2 Turn from pathways dreary to the Saviour’s breast;
Jesus gives the weary pardon, peace and rest;
Come to living fountains; come to Calv’ry’s hill,
Faith removeth mountains; “Whosoever will.” [Refrain]

3 Faithful and unbroken shall His truth abide;
All that God hath spoken shall be verified;
Come, in meekness praying; grace your needs will fill,
Come, His will obeying, “Whosoever will.” [Refrain]
