Get Right With God

Representative Text

1 Get right with God, O man of sin,
The Saviour died your soul to win;
His precious blood will make you clean,
O, burden’d soul, get right with God.

Chorus:
O, sinner, hear the Spirit’s call;
Before the cross in meekness fall;
Then look to Christ, the sinners’ all,
And by His grace get right with God.

2 Get right with God! thy conscience heed,
Depend on Christ for ev’ry need;
His life and death for sinners plead,
O, weary soul, get right with God. [Chorus]

3 Get right with God! do not delay;
His spirit calls, why longer stay?
Come as you are, without delay,
O, waiting soul, get right with God. [Chorus]

4 Get right with God, for death is near,
The bells of time sound in thine ear;
On Christ rely, and never fear,
O, passing soul, get right with God. [Chorus]
