Hark, the loud triumphant strains. T.Kelly. [Missions.] First published in the 3rd edition of his Hymns, &c, 1809, No. 164, in 3 stanzas of 6 lines (edition 1853, p. 577). In Hatfield's Church Hymn Book, N. Y., 1872, No. 303 is based upon this hymn; stanza i., lines 1-2, and stanza iii., lines 1-2, being slightly altered from Kelly, whilst the rest of the hymn embodies its train of thoughts in another form.
