Published in 2 hymnals

Audio files: MIDI

Representative Text

1 He will send showers of blessing,
Blessings to comfort and cheer;
He will send showers refreshing;
Lo! even now they draw near.

Refrain:
Showers of blessing, showers refreshing,
Bountiful rains from above,
Heaven is sending as we are bending
Low at this throne of God’s love.

2 Lo! there are times of reviving
Coming from heaven above,
Kindling our hearts to new fervor,
Quick’ning our faith and our love. [Refrain]

3 Mercy-drops round us are falling
Full of salvation and grace,
And the warm glow of the Spirit
Kindles anew in each face. [Refrain]

4 O for the Spirit’s infilling!
O for more faith and more love!
O for more grace and more power!
O for new life from above! [Refrain]
