Hear and Do

Representative Text

1 Hear the word the Saviour speaks;
'T is the hearing ear he seeks;
Do his will, his Word obey;
'T is the safe and happy way.

Chorus:
Hear and do, yes, hear and do;
'T is the Saviour speaks to you;
Listen, listen, and obey,
Love and follow, day by day.

2 First the Saviour loved us all;
He will hear us when we call;
All should love, and trust him, too;
All be swift to "hear and do." [Chorus]

3 Grateful for his loving care,
Lift the voice of praise and prayer;
Praise him for his holy Word,
For the lessons we have heard. [Chorus]
