Since I found the living way,
And am trusting in my Savior all the while!
He has pardoned my transgressions,
Turning darkness into day,
And I’m living in the sunshine of His smile.

Refrain:
In the sunshine of His smile,
There is joy and comfort for each weary mile;
And when earthly life is over,
I shall with the ransomed throng
Dwell forever in the sunshine of His smile.

2 I have sweet communion with Him
As His will He helps me do,
Striving lost ones unto Him to reconcile;
By the grace and strength He gives me,
I can evermore be true,
Gladly keeping in the sunshine of His smile. [Refrain]

3 He is sharing all my burdens,
Giving gladness, peace and rest;
O how sweet to be no longer an exile!
Knowing Jesus loves and keeps me,
I am now supremely blest,
