Representative Text

1 Hymns of sweetest praise let all his children sing,
Joyfully, joyfully!
Glad hosannas to the Lord, our glorious King,
Joyfully, joyfully!

Praise the Lord, the mighty King,
To his feet your tribute bring;
Let both heav’n and earth with alleluias ring
Joyfully, joyfully!

2 Sing of Jesus and his dear redeeming love,
Joyfully, joyfully!
Sing of that sweet home prepared for us above,
Joyfully, joyfully! [Chorus]

3 Hearts afar from Christ will hear the blessed strain,
Joyfully, joyfully!
To the Shepherd’s fold will they return again,
Joyfully, joyfully! [Chorus]

4 Sweeter songs will ring upon that blissful shore,
Joyfully, joyfully!
When we see his face, and praise him evermore,
Joyfully, joyfully! [Chorus]
