Representative Text

1 I have sought in worldly pleasure
Unalloyed delight to find,
But in Christ I’ve found a treasure
Satisfying heart and mind.

Jesus satisfies my longings,
All I need, in Him I see;
Glory, glory hallelujah,
Christ is all the world to me.

2 He’s my joy and consolation,
Elder brother, truest friend:
He’s my rock, my full salvation,
And His love will never end. [Refrain]

3 Be the pathway bright or dreary,
Full of hope, or shadowed be,
Whether strong, or faint and weary,
Christ is all the world to me. [Refrain]
