Representative Text

1 I’m so happy since I gave my heart to Jesus,
For He hath washed my many sins away;
He hath fully, freely pardoned my transgressions,
That’s why I am so happy all the day.

Refrain:
I’m happy,
So happy,
I’m happy in my Saviour ev’ry day,
For He hath freely pardoned my transgressions,
That’s why I am so happy all the way.

2 I’m so happy since I gave my heart to Jesus,
His peace within doth like a river flow;
I will praise and glorify His name forever,
For He hath made me pure and white as snow. [Refrain]

3 I’m so happy since I gave my heart to Jesus,
I would that others, too, His love may know;
I would tell the blessed story of salvation,—
His saving grace wherever I may go. [Refrain]
