The Nest

1 In the branches of the tree,
Is the bird its nest preparing:
Laying in two little eggs;
Coming out two little birds;
Calling their mother peep, peep, peep, mother dear, peep,
Mother dear, peep, so dear to us, peep, so dear to us.
