Jesus staar og rækker Hænder

Jesus staar og rækker Hænder

Representative Text

1 Jesus staar og rækker Hænder
Til de arme Sjæle ud,
Tvilen fer og Troen kjender,
Siger: Herre min og Gud!
Fuld af Himlens Kjærlighed
Byder han dem Aand og Fred,
Som en Frugt udaf sin Pine;
Herren kjender alle Sine.

2 Søde Jesus, naar jeg leder
Efter dig i Tvilens Nat,
Naar mit Suk afmægtigt beder,
Lad min Sjæl da faa dig fat!
Tal dit store: Det er jeg!
Saa skal Mørkheds Magter ei
Mig den mindste Skade gjøre,
Thi min Jesu Magt er større.
