Join all to sing, sweet songs of spring

Representative Text

1 Join all to sing, sweet songs of spring,
Glad and bright;
Nature so fair calls us to share
Sweet delight.
Carols from blossoming vales and hills,
Set to the music of brooks and rills;
Glad tidings bring and happy hearts sing,
‘Tis spring, glad spring.

Refrain:
Earth glowing in beauty rare,
Skies smiling so bright and fair,
Hearts waking the joy to share,
Spring’s rapture is everywhere.
Buds waking and blossoming,
Songs bursting from birds awing;
Glad voices reechoing
The sweet carols of spring.

2 Join every voice, help us rejoice,
Spring is here;
Nature today, in best array,
Thrills with cheer.
Let songs of rapture our tongues employ,
While all the world’s running o’er with joy;
Merry bells ring and happy hearts sing,
‘Tis spring, glad spring. [Refrain]
