She was right. We only ask for money twice a year, and we do so because we need it.

خلِّص وعزِّ يا مُجيرْ

2 فالهمُّ قد أتلفني
لم أنس قولَك الثمينْ
والعمرُ مرَّ وفَنى
ولم تُجازِ المعتدينْ

3 قد قام أهل الكِبريا
وحفروا لي حُفرةً
زوراً ومكراً ورِيا
يا رب هبني نُصرةً

4 اضطهدوني علنا
لم يرهبوا شرعَ القديرْ
وفي وصايا ربنا
سلامةٌ للمستجيرْ

5 كادت حياتي تنتهي
من أرضنا لولا قليلْ
أما أنا فأشتهي
فضلكَ يا ربي الجليلْ

6 عليّ جُد برحمتكْ
