Representative Text

1 Light from a stable shining,
Music from angel choir;
Hailing the wondrous advent,—
Every true heart’s Desire.

Refrain:
Hark! hark! we almost hear them singing;
Hark! hark! how clear the voices ringing;
Come! come! your worship bringing,
Bow before the Infant King.
Adore before the Infant King,
Adore before the Infant King.

2 Beautiful Infant Saviour!
Lying so lowly there!
Smiling upon Thy mother,
Guarded by angels fair. [Refrain]

3 Wonderful King of glory,
Coming to save the world,
Over Thy hallowed manger—
Love is for aye unfurled. [Refrain]
