Representative Text

1 Lord, Thou art mine, I know Thou art,
Fill me, Lord, and cleanse my heart,
Now let me feel Thy quick’ning pow’r,
Send on me a cleansing show’r.

2 Thou hast redeemed my soul so blest,
Give me now that sweetest rest,
Free from all that is unlike Thee;
Come Thou nearer yet to me.

3 O Lord I’m resting now in Thee,
Far to realms of bliss I see;
O clasp me closer to Thy breast,
Keep me in Thy holy rest.

4 Sweet is Thy voice, O Lord, to me,
Now Thy cleansing stream I see;
Draw me nearer blessed Lord,
Shield me with Thy holy word.

5 Then I shall ever love Thee, Lord,
Bind me with love’s tender cord;
Perfect in love to Thee I pray,
Hover o’er me, Lord, each day.
