Representative Text

1 Oh! a wondrous time is coming unto you,
And the day nor hour no mortal knows;
Be prepared, accept and trust the Savior true,
Death and judgment meet with calm repose!

Refrain:
Be prepared, oh! why delay,
When a moment may decide your fate?
Be prepared for Christ today,
Lest it shall forever be too late!

2 Jesus, for each trusting soul, escape provides
Thro’ His mercy and unchanging love,
And from death and night the wanderer safely guides
To the shelter of the home above. [Refrain]

3 Look to Christ, believing, and His name confess,
That He may salvation freely give;
Be prepared, redeemed from all unrighteousness,
And forever in His presence live! [Refrain]
