Wilson, Mrs. Caroline (Fry),1787-1846, usage Caroline Fry Wilson, Caroline, née Fry, daughter of a farmer, was born at Tunbridge Wells, Dec. 31, 1787. In 1831 she was married to a Mr. Wilson, and died at Tunbridge Wells, Sept. 17, 1846. Her publications were somewhat numerous, and included a History of England in Verse, 1801; a Poetical Catechism, 1821; Serious Poetry, 1822; Death, and other Poems, 1823, &c. Her Autobiography, Letters, and Remains were published in 1843, and her Table of the Lord in 1859. Her best known hymns are:— 1. For what shall I praise Thee, My God and my King?
