1 On, Christian soldier, onward now go,
Sin lurks about thee, conquer the foe,
Faith in your Captain, now and alway,
Then on, Christian soldier, on to the fray!

2 On, Christian soldier, colors unfurled,—
Marching together, conquer the world,
Keep His bright banner floating above,

3 On, Christian soldier, joyful then be,
Shouting the song of His victory,
No thought of danger, His word obey,
Then keep in the path, nor halt by the way. [Refrain]

4 On, Christian soldier, trust in your Lord
Ever upholding His holy word,
Conquered the foe, your battle then won,
